Happy Trails doesn't intend to replace your local bike shop, but to supplement their services on site. I'm there for the triage, the things you forgot to do pre-event, or didn't have time to do. I've supported all types of events (e.g., cross country, cyclocross, crit, centuries, tours). When a cyclist needs help, I'm there.

Ok, this I have to post in past tense. This event happened August 19th. Unfortunately I didn't have time to post before the event which gives me a rare opportunity to report vs. forecast. This event was a smash hit! I was stationed at the Skunk Hollow aid station below the Salmon Falls Bridge, end of stage two. Quiet at first then the wave hit. Dirty, dusty, grimy, creaking, and leaking. I don't know how many of the 190 +/- riders stopped by but the stats stand for themselves.
3 bottles of chain lube ( enough to last two seasons out at Prairie City Race Series ).
8 inner tunes
32oz. of Stan's sauce! Equal to a whole PCRS AND a Sac CX season!
2 derailleur cables
and so many more tweaks and adjujstments. You guys rocked! Every one who stopped by was smiling and eager to see whats next.
Congrats to Jen and Clint and a whole slew of volunteers for knocking another event out of the park. If they do this again you must attend!

FOLSOM RODEO CROSS
It's Rodeo time! Another year and Frank and Asa are at it again. You need a mid week pick up race, an excuse to get out of the house, can't race the weekends and need to vent? You need to make it out to the Dan Russell Arena to race or heckle in the forrest. This is one of my favorite events, so much so that I have NEVER missed a single race since inception. If you don't race come cheer the racers and enjoy the vibe.
Race dates are September 6, 13, and 27th. October 4, 11, and 25th.
More info can be found at their FaceBook page Folsom Rodeocross
